Mitch Albom grew up in New Jersey and received his bachelor's degree in Sociology at Brandeis University in Waltham Massachusetts. He now lives in Detroit with his wife where he established four different charities. Albom has written four books and sold 33 million copies worldwide, his first is The Five People You Meet in Heaven, then came Tuesdays with Morrie, For one More Day in 2006, and his most recent work is Have a Little Faith in 2009. Also, he currently appears in the ESPN Sport Reporter as well as the Sport Center. His talk show on WJR airs Monday through Friday. Mitch’s birthday is on March 23, he is 54 as of 2012.
